The MOjO Sonic Mini Series

The picture below is the original prototype ...

You may note some small differences from the production version, the port is now on the side and we set the speaker slightly off center in the baffle-board to make room for the tweeter version "MINI" T

Designed with the pro user and studio engineer in mind, the Mini takes advantage of a combination of time tested designs and assembly techniques coupled to the newest Neodymium speakers, it's a match made in heaven for bass players everywhere. As a bass player myself, over the years I've come to know what works and why. Until very recently the need for big heavy and bulky cabinets was the norm in the bass world, now you have a choice. The Mini and Mini T have several advantages over other speaker systems. The cabinets weigh in at an incredible 21.5 and 23 lbs respectively with dimensions of only 15"W x 13.5" T x 12.5" D they are easily transported via the large ergonomic side handle. For toughness, durability and stack-ability, they come made of 13ply birch with a tough carpet covering and grooved stackable corners. A combination of size, weight and incredible sound that is hard to beat.

Easy to transport a pair fit easily into the trunk of a compact car.

MOjO Sonic speakers sound great!

There I said it ... but it's not just me, the entire process from the beginning was built around testing and listening to the comments and critiques of real players from of all types of music. The original prototype was tested with both formal AB testing and informal listening test with multiple players. The result of these test directly resulted in the Mini T or tweeter added version. The standard 1x10 has a strong extended range using the single stand-alone speaker and will be all many bassist desire, but players that slap needed more so we engineered the T version with an added 400 watt Eminence variable crossover crossing at 3.5 k to an Eminence 80 watt Super tweeter.

Every speaker has its own sonic stamp or signature and the Mini series is no exception. You will find they have a good and even articulation through the entire range, with tight and controlled bass tuned with our own OPT (Optimal Port Tuning) process and pronounced mids that cut through the mix both recorded and live. The top end ranges from clean and clear on the Mini to a stunning sparkle on the Mini T.

The Mini series ... Light, Loud and Ready to perform

And perform they do we had enough confidence in them to use the very first production pair LIVE at BB Kings Place on Beale St. Memphis TN. bassist Kelly McDonald with the Corey Osborn Band.
